Colin is a web developer with a deep technical background spanning over 30 years in the technology industry. Before founding EL6 Apps, Colin built an extensive career in networking, including Wireless LAN/WAN deployment and outdoor fixed wireless access, experience that gives him a strong understanding of how technology works at the infrastructure level, not just the surface.
Colin specialises in WordPress development, building websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. He has a particular talent for creating custom tools and interactive application, the Trade Estimator platform (tradeestimator.co.uk) provides instant online estimation tools for tradespeople and professional services, and has been adopted by businesses across multiple sectors, including builders, plumbers, electricians, accountants, and solicitors.
Beyond web development, Colin is actively exploring the cutting edge of how AI is changing search and discovery. He is one of a small number of UK developers working with Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), the practice of structuring websites so they are recommended by AI search engines. This includes implementing llms.txt files, AI-optimised schema markup, and conversational content strategies that most agencies haven’t yet adopted.
Colin is an active Oxfordshire business networker and regularly helps fellow business owners improve their digital presence through referrals and practical advice.

Lianne leads business development, client relationships and creative direction at EL6. With more than 20 years’ experience in software sales and marketing, she brings strong commercial and strategic thinking to every project. Her background ensures that each website is not only visually polished, but positioned to deliver measurable business growth.
She manages client communication from the first conversation through to launch and ongoing support, keeping projects organised, transparent and on track. Clear direction, honest advice and a structured process are central to the way she works. Clients value her ability to translate business objectives into practical digital solutions that genuinely perform.
Lianne is passionate about helping businesses grow and helping set them apart from the competition online. She believes a website should work as a powerful sales and marketing tool, building trust, generating enquiries, and supporting long-term growth.
